August saw us heading off to Gosforth for a week exploring those fells that are just a little too far to reach in a day. Having found a suitable cottage for four ladies and a dog we were all set for a good week's walking. However, circumstances meant that all did not go to plan but, nevertheless, the holiday was enjoyed by all.
