| Having visited this area many years ago the time had come to revisit and extend my experiences there. A promising cottage was found in Ballachulish and this turned out to be one of the best cottages we have stayed in. Glenfinnan viaduct, The Pass of Glencoe and the Isle of Skye were the first places on our list which went on to include Neptune's Staircase. Loch Eilde Mor, Fort Willam's Cow Hill Circuit, the Commando Memorial at Spean Bridge and the Ardnamurchan Peninsula were gradually added to the list. Could we fit it all in? |
