Walk: Sant Elm, Pas Vermell, Coll des Vent, Port d’Andratx and return
Distance: 13.74 miles Time: 7 hours
Ascent: 2,318 feet Descent: 2,318 feet
Weather: Sunny and hot all day
Comments:

After walking to the opposite end of Sant Elm we climbed on an indistinct path through the bushes woodland. From here we continued up the valley to Pas Vermell. After crossing a rocky section a wide rough path took us into Port d’Andratx where we walked past the marina filled with large and very expensive looking boats. The opposite side of the harbour housed the working boats and the main centre was also to be found at here. At this point most of the group found a suitable establishment for lunch before catching the bus or a taxi back to Sant Elm. I decided to retrace the route and arrived back in Sant Elm 2½ hours later. A route of two halves, the Sant Elm half being very picturesque and on interesting paths while the Port d'Andratx half was on a wide rough path with the last section being a series of zig-zags.
