Walk: | Hayeswater Gill, Gray Crag, Thornthwaite Crag, High Street, The Knott, Satura Crag, Brock Crags, Hayeswater Gill
Start Point: | Hartsop | Grid Reference: | NY 410 130 |
Distance: | 9.5 miles | Ascent: | 2,800 feet |
Time: | 5.75 hours | ||
Weather: | Sunny with a cool breeze on the tops
Comments: | The first two miles involves a 1,600 foot climb which took me two hours!! The rest of the total ascent of the walk is much more spread out and not as steep! It is an excellent walk for identifying many Wainwright summits taking in distant views north, south east and west. |
