Walk: Newby, Newby Cote, Newby Moss, Little Ingleborough, Gaping Gill, Trow Gill, Long Scar, Crummack, Austwick
Start Point: Clapham riverside Grid Reference: SD 745 693
Distance: 11 miles Ascent: 2,900 feet
Time: 5.5 hours
Weather: Sunny but very windy (again)
Comments: After a strong and blustery head wind as I climbed to Little Ingleborough I decided to re-route down Trow Gill instead of up to Ingleborough. I continued on to Long Top before dropping down to Crummock and into Austwick. It was then a lovely walk through fields back to Clapham.

Ingleborough from Little Ingleborough

Gaping Gill . . .

A perfect spot for lunch looking towards Ingleborough

Heading down Trow Gill
