Walk: Hollinshead Hall, River Roddlesworth, Roddlesworth Reservoir, Rake Brook Reservoir, Abbey Village, Tockholes, Sunnyhurst Woods, Darwen Tower, Darwen Moor
Start Point: Crookfield Road car park Grid Reference: SD 665 191
Distance: 10.2 miles Ascent: 1,770 feet
Time: 5 hours
Weather: Dry with some sunny spells and a cold wind on Darwen Moor
Comments: A pleasant walk with a good variety of terrain. Some footpaths had suffered severe erosion from the recent heavy rain and other sections were muddy or boggy. However, the major part of the walk was on good, well drained paths.
